J. Scott Powell, CPA, PFS

Scott founded the company in 1996 after his desire to serve his clients holistically grew. The need for tax planning, accounting services and wealth management were desired by many but effectively delivered by few. Scott successfully filled this void. He leads our planning teams and is our managing partner. Serving the needs of the families and having significant impact on behalf of them are what drive the motivation of his role. Family, cooking, and travel are his passions. Scott enjoys the outdoors through golf, boating, hiking and most things that get you outside.

Kathleen Edwards, CPA

Director of Tax and Accounting

Kathleen joined Arrow Advisory as a partner in 2019, bringing more than 13 years of experience in the public accounting sector and 5 years as a CFO in the private sector of accounting. This has created a diverse background to advise clients on complicated issues with a deep understanding of what business owners face day-to-day. In her personal time, she loves playing tennis and almost anything outdoors with her husband and two kids.

Kellie has been with the Arrow Advisory since early 2005. She is licensed financial advisor but focuses on the implementation side of the business. She is the point of contact if you have any questions about your Wealth Management and Financial Planning service process.

Kellie considers herself a “foodie” and enjoys cooking and walks in the woods or on the beach. She also likes treasure hunting at antique stores (and Homegoods). She is a college football fan, and as an alumnus of Clemson, is a proud Tiger.

Michael is a licensed Financial Advisor who focuses on goal-based financial planning. His unique background encompasses both law and business, which complement his current role by enabling him to provide insightful advice to his clients. He is an avid “car guy” which tests his wife’s patience at times but, makes it up to her by traveling and going on adventures whenever possible.

While Jenelle has dedicated most of her adult professional career to Arrow Advisory, she doesn’t spend all of time working. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her children and attending their sporting events. She is known as the “Queen Soccer Mom.” She loves to cook and experiment with new recipes, cuddle with her dog Brooks, and watching cooking shows, crime shows and football. She is a huge fan of the UT Vols and TN Titans.
